Georgina Manvell designed this pattern for Home & Country magazine Sept 1990 in an article called Animal Magic Country Almanack Knitted Animals. There were eight animals in this article Hare, Otter, Mole, Badger, Swan, Hedgehog, Dormouse & Barn Owl.

We have included a picture of the Barn Owl as featured in the Home & Country magazine and also part of the article

We decided that Mr Barn Owl deserved a fresh look and so took new pictures in Suzannah’s garden. He  looks great doesn’t he!

This is exactly the same pattern as featured in Home & Country but Georgina and Suzannah have given it new updated pictures.
